Dear Colleagues,

We are proud to bring you the first national obstetrics/gynecology conference from Kaiser Permanente.

It’s about staying on the leading edge of your field. Nationally recognized experts in the fields of maternal-fetal medicine, gynecological surgery, chronic pain management, urogynecology, perinatal safety, hormone treatment, and peripartum depression will present engaging and provocative sessions about the current clinical challenges you and your colleagues face.

It’s about knowledge you can use. Teachers for this conference evaluate the content of their lectures through national needs assessments and strategic organizational goals. Then they prepare educational objectives that provide practical take-home points you can immediately implement in your day-to-day practice.

It’s about networking. Share clinical pearls and best practices with your multidisciplinary clinical colleagues all across the U.S.

It’s about renewal. Take time to reflect and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit with your family on the spectacular island of Kauai at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa. We hope to see you there!

Yours truly,
Tracy Flanagan, MD
Director of Women’s Health, The Permanente Medical Group
2008 Conference Chair
