If the weather is favorable, see “Where to buy food” below and pick up some bread, fruit and cheese before heading out to a picnic.

  • Napa’s Clos Du Val – most romantic
  • Rutherford Hill Winery – great views
  • Domaine Caneros- no picnic grounds, but it has a great terrace that serves wine/cheese
  • V. Sattui – in-house deli and cheese board just steps from expansive picnicking lawns
