Royal Kona Resort
The official conference hotel is the Royal Kona Resort- a 10-minute walk to the center of Kailua-Kona town and the headquarters of the Ironman.

Royal Kona Resort: all rooms have either a king bed or two double beds, a/c, mini-refrigerator, telephone, TV, coffee maker and private lanai. The resort features swimming pool, restaurant, lounge, hair salon, on-site travle desk and sundries store.

RESERVATION PROCEDURE:

Call the Royal Kona Resort directly at 1-808-329-3111 and identify yourself as an Ironman Sports Medical Conference attendee. Please call during normal business hours Hawaii Time so you reach the hotel directly. Or book your room online at www.royalkona.com/ironman. Please be sure that the Group Code 10006A appears in the Group Code box. Note that rates online include the 13.167% room tax.

• A consecutive 5 night minimum stay is required
• Conference registration is required (or guest of an attendee)
• Full conference registrants who are a guest of the Royal Kona Resort booked with the Ironman Sports Medicine Conference room block receive three (3) full breakfast buffet coupons

ALL ROOMS ARE LOCATED IN THE RENOVATED ALII AND LAGOON TOWERS!

All rates are per night, single or double occupancy and do not include the current room tax of 13.42%. Children under the age of 18 sharing a room with parents and utilizing existing bedding are complimentary. Extra person charge of $35 per night plus tax applies for adults 18 years and older. The maximum number of persons per room is four. Parking is available to hotel guests at $10 per day - rates subject to change. Although the room rates are valid between the nights of October 2, 2012, until the night of October 16, 2012 - our guaranteed block of rooms starts Saturday October 6 and ends the night of Saturday October 13, 2012. Pre and post stays outside of these dates are subject to availability.

RESTIRCTIONS/DEPOSITS/CANCELLATION FEES:

• Minimum stay requirement is five (5) nights. All reservations less than five (5) nights will be assessed a surcharge of $30.00 per day over the following dates: Thursday, October 11th; Friday, October 12th; and Saturday, October 13th.
• All rates quoted are single or double occupancy. The rate for third and fourth person in the room is $35.00 each, plus tax per night. A maximum of four (4) persons to a room is allowed.
• Deposit:
  Your credit card will be charged for the advance deposit of two (2) nights' room and taxes.
• Cancellation:
  Cancellations that are received between thirty (30) days to fifteen (15) days prior to the requested arrival will be assessed two (2) nights' room and taxes. Between fourteen (14) days and seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival will be charged five (5) nights cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 72 hours will be charged the full lodging stay+ tax for all nights reserved.
• Individuals with guaranteed reservations who fail to arrive on the confirmed date will be charged for the entire stay.
• Late arrivals and early departures will be charged for the unused nights at the Group rate
• Changes to your arrival/departure dates are subject to a $50.00 change fee
