Welcome to the 16th Annual Update in Orthopaedic Surgery Conference 2008. This program has been developed for Orthopaedic Surgeons, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants and other Allied Healthcare workers who have an interest in Orthopaedics.
Conference Learning Objectives
At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

Evaluate various shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgical techniques and discuss the appropriate role for each.

The attendee will be able to summarize various adult and pediatric fracture treatments and to differentiate between treatments best suited to treat adults versus those treatments best suited to children.

The participant will be able to identify various factors in the success and failure of total joint arthroplasties and will be able to discuss how each factor will affect their own practice.

The attendee will be able to discuss recent advances in minimally invasive spine surgery and to differentiate when each type of surgery is indicated

Identify advanced surgical techniques in upper extremity surgery
