Dear Colleagues: 
The Kaiser Permanente National Orthopaedic Conference is designed to bring together clinicians and health care professionals from across the country to share best practices in the area of orthopaedics.
This educational 3-day conference will provide participants with an understanding of new and recent advances in areas such as: hemostatis, gene therapy, pediatric scoliosis, spinal compression fractures and medical technology assessment. The program features an in-depth look at basic and advanced clinical information presented through a combination of lectures, workshops and small-group breakouts.
Overall Course Objectives
- Incorporate new high quality evidence from the literature.
- Employ cost effective treatment regimens.
- Employ new strategies for treatment of controversial hip, knee, shoulder and hand problems.
- Use published studies to support clinical decisions in total joint arthroplasty, shoulder surgery, hand surgery, sports knee surgery and the effect of growth factors in soft tissue healing.
Target Audience
The target audience for this conference is any clinician who is responsible for some aspect of caring for patients. Traditionally, most attendees have been orthopaedic surgeons, PM&R physicians, occupational therapists and other interested healthcare professionals.
